About:

Mahaveer Swami is descended from a family of Traditional Bikaner Painters. Born on July 3, 1959, as a child he began training with his father M.R. Swami and grandfather M.D. Swami. Later he studied under late Vedpal Sharma “Bannu” in Jaipur.
Mahaveer’s working style is strongly influenced by his studies of Mughal and Rajasthani Miniatures. His subject matter is often drawn from the life style of holy men and women, daily life of Indian women and sometimes from Hindu Mythological terms.
His work demonstrates beyond a doubt that a rich and beautiful tradition is still very much alive.
